Pakistan, Tajikistan tied with strong trade relations: Asif




ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister of Pakistan Khawaja Asif said on Wednesday that Pakistan is looking forward to durable economic relations with Tajikistan.

Addressing a session of “Pakistan-Tajikistan Joint Inter-Governmental Commission” in Islamabad today, Asif said that Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed to enhance trade, energy, and telecommunication ties.

Referring to the TAPI project, the minister said once completed, the project will help overcome Pakistan`s energy crisis.

Asif said that Pakistan has become trade heaven for foreign investors and many international companies have been investing here since last year. He also invited Tajik investors to invest here.
