ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Petroleum Dr. Musadik Malik says Pakistan will import oil at considerably cheaper rate from Russia next month to facilitate general public.
According to Musadik the government has been successful in finalizing talks with Russia in this regard.
The Minister of State said the first shipment will reach Pakistan next month (May, 2023) through a cargo.
He assured that the government would sell oil at cheaper rates to public after receiving this shipment.
He claimed that government would soon introduce a different tariff for the poor and well-to-do.
