Pakistan vs. Sri Lanka series tickets available from Sept 20

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the availability dates of the tickets for Sri Lanka tour to Pakistan.

According to PCB’s official social media account, the tickets will go on sale online from September 20 while will be available on selected TCS Centres in both cities from next day.

Karachi will host three ODIs on September 27, 29 and October 2 and tickets price will range from 500-3000 rupees.

“The enclosures including Iqbal Qasim, Nasimul Ghani, Wasim Bari, Mohammad Brothers, and Intikhab Alam will cost PKR 500. PKR 1,000 has been set for Asif Iqbal, Waqar Hasan, and Majid Khan. Quaid, Wasim Akram, Imran Khan, and Zaheer Abbas are valued at PKR 2,000 while VIP tickets for Hanif Mohammad, Javed Miandad, and Fazal Mahmood costs PKR 3,000,” said a PCB handout.

In Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, three T20Is will be staged on October 5, 7 and 9. The tickets price will cost from PKR 500-5,000.

Cricket: 20 probable Pak players for ODI and T20 series against S. Lanka

Misbah-ul-Haq, the head coach and chief selector has announced the names of 20 Pakistani probable players here on Monday (16th of Sept.) for the upcoming ODI and T20i series against Sri Lanka to be held from 27th Sept to 9th October, 2019.

These following probable players will take part in a training camp, which will commence from tomorrow (Wednesday 18th of September) at the National Cricket Academy: Sarfaraz Ahmed (C), Babar Azam (VC), Abid Ali, Ahmed Shehzad, Asif Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, Umar Akmal, Usman Shinwari and Wahab Riaz.

Team management for the Sri Lanka and Australia series: Misbah-ul-Haq (Head Coach and Chief Selector); Mansoor Rana (Team Operations, Logistics & Administrative Manager), Waqar Younis (Bowling Coach), Grant Bradburn (Fielding Coach), Shahid Aslam (Assistant to Head coach on cricket), Cliffe Deacon (Physiotherapist), Yasir Malik (Trainer), Maj (R) Azhar Arif (Security Manager – for Sri Lanka series), Col (R) Usman Anwari (Security Manager – for Australia tour), Raza Kitchlew (Team Media Manager), Talha Butt (Team Analyst) and the masseur.

Training camp of Pakistan Cricket Team for upcoming ODI and T-20 series against Sri Lanka will commence at the National Academy here from tomorrow (18th of September 2019).

Commenting on his preferred team Misbah-ul-Haq said that he wanted to have a team that played attacking cricket keeping in mind that sometimes one has to assess “what team you’re playing and then rethink your strategy!”

According to sources in PCB the final squads for ODI/T20i series will be announced on Saturday 21st of September. Following that the ODI team will be moved to the Port City on 24th September where the first ODI is scheduled to be held on 27th of September.

It is pertinent to mention here since their NOCs to participate in the CPL is expiring on 12th of October, 2019 Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik had not been named in the list of 20 probables.
