Pakistani Falcon beats Philippine’s Oliva to claim WBC silver flyweight title

SEOUL :  28-year-old  Pakistani from Quetta Muhammad Waseem (alias Falcon Khan) weighing 112 pounds  has defeated the hot favorite from Philippines Jether Oliva to clinch the World Boxing Council silver flyweight title here on Sunday.  

Muhammad Waseem who presently ranks among the top four by the WBC is all set to go for the world championship.

Falcon Khan started his professional career last year in South Korea winning the Korean Bantamweight title. He has so far fought four major bouts winning all of them. Andy Kim, his manager, conveyed to NewsPakistan.TV earlier that ‘Falcon Khan’ was in his best shape.
