Pakistani film industry became point of attraction to Bollywood stars: Fawad Khan

By: Zeeshan Akbar

Famous star Fawad Khan on Friday claimed that Pakistani film industry has become the point of attraction to the Indian stars.

In an interview, Khan urged Pakistani film producers to generate good quality films to qualify in the international market.

“Cinema may expose you to the positive idea. Here in Pakistan, we don’t see as many good things being reported. That’s totally unfortunate for us. People only want to see a good quality serial or movie these days,” said Khan.

When asked about inviting Bollywood stars to Pakistan, Khan replied: “Many Bollywood celebrities like Sidharth Malhotra and Sonam Kapoor want to visit Pakistan and work here.”

Fawad went on to say that the only thing we need is to improve our film industry.

“We need to create opportunities for the Bollywood stars to come and work here. All they need is a good script and supporting team,” Khan said.

About his experience in India, he said: “When I came to India for the first time, I instantly fell in love with the country, and I felt it was like a home away from home.”
