Parineeti Chopra thinks she will never understand the ‘ways of Bollywood’

MUMBAI: Parineeti Chopra, the talented Bollywood actress who will complete her five years in the industry this year, says that she is still confused about the ways of Bollywood as she still hasn’t understood the “ways of the industry at all”.

“I don’t think I will ever understand it. I don’t think anyone, who has been here for even 50 years, can claim the same. The reason behind that is that it (one’s understating of the way the industry functions) is based on the acceptance of the world, which isn’t in your hands. So, you can never understand. If that was true (if one could understand how B-Town functions), then everyone would be a king or a queen, which isn’t possible,” Parineeti said in an interview to the Indian channel.

The actress says that she still gets surprised by the things happening in the industry.

“It keeps you on your toes, because something new happens daily. People could react in a new way, an unexpected film could work, unconventional actors could be successful or a tried-and-tested formula could fail,” she says.

The Kill Dil actress said that she wants her normal life back as she never wanted to be so much busy in the industry.

“I never wanted it. I am not a filmi person. I like to go back [home] to a normal life. I don’t want it to be in the papers,” Chopra said.

Parineeti, who started her Bollywood career back in 2011 with Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, will next be seen with Ayushmaan Khurrana in Meri Pyaari Bindu, and with Ajay Devgan in Golmaal 4.
