Parts of country to experience hot and dry weather in next 24 hours




KARACHI: Meteorologists department on Tuesday has reported that the country will experience hot and dry weather in the next twenty-four hours.

According to the Met department, some parts of the country are likely to receive rainfall.

The report says that in case there would be no rain, the hot and dry weather will remain for the next two days.

“Some parts of the country are likely to receive rainfall amid heavy winds and thunderstorm. These areas include Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Quetta, Zhob, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir,” read the report.

In this season of the heat wave, different cities are facing extreme temperature between 42◦C to 47◦C. During the past twenty-four hours, Sindh region experienced the rise in the temperature and several cities including Dadu, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Larkana and Shehdadkot were on the highest. Whereas, the temperature recorded in the urban areas like Karachi, Hyderabad, and Mirpurkhas was 37◦C to 39◦C.

Sibi and Turbat experienced the highest temperature at 47°C, during the past twenty-four hours.

Pakistan has been experiencing a warm temperature that seems to be rising as the harsh summer approaches.
