PCB gets approval to complete PSL matches in Abu Dhabi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), that has acquired approval to complete the remaining twenty HBL PSL VI matches in Abu Dhabi, will be holding an online conference with all the six franchise owners to figure out the modus operandi in detail.

PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan, while thanking the UAE govt, National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, Emirates Cricket Board and Abu Dhabi Sports Council for their support and patronage in ensuring all final obstacles were removed, exclaimed: “We are delighted with this development as the remaining hurdles in the staging of the remaining HBL PSL 6 matches in Abu Dhabi have been overcome and all systems are now good to go.

“The PCB, in consultation with the team owners, will now work at pace to finalize all event-related arrangements, details of which will be shared in due course…The holding of the remaining matches in Abu Dhabi will allow our fans to once again follow and support their favorite players and teams through our high-quality broadcast coverage of one of the most competitive cricket leagues in the world.”

The schedule announced earlier for the remaining 20 HBL PSL VI matches:

June 1: Lahore Qalandars v Islamabad United

June 2: Multan Sultans v Karachi Kings

June 3: Islamabad United v Quetta Gladiators

June 4: Peshawar Zalmi v Lahore Qalandars

June 5: Islamabad United v Karachi Kings; Multan Sultans v Quetta Gladiators

June 6: Peshawar Zalmi v Karachi Kings

June 7: Quetta Gladiators v Lahore Qalandars

June 8: Multan Sultans v Peshawar Zalmi

June 9: Islamabad United v Lahore Qalandars

June 10: Quetta Gladiators v Karachi Kings

June 11: Multan Sultans v Islamabad United

June 12: Quetta Gladiators v Peshawar Zalmi; Karachi Kings v Lahore Qalandars
