LAHORE: Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq, selectors of the T20I team, that even lost to USA’s rag tag équipe during the World Cup last month, have been shown the door by PCB on Wednesday (10th July, 2024).

Taking to the Twitter sacked Wahab Riaz pointed towards the six-member selection team and asked how his sole vote could have dominated? Saying that he would issue his statement on Wednesday evening, Wahab Riaz said all the minutes of the (selection board) were available.

It may be recalled that instead of resigning himself, the PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, while in the Big Apple, trumpeted about Major Surgery before the American Media: “I thought the team required minor surgery to start winning matches but now it appears that we have to go for major surgery!“
