Pemra issues show-cause notice to News One TV

KARACHI: A show-cause notice has been served by Pemra to News One TV channel for airing “defamatory” news items and clips in which NAB Chairman Javed Iqbal was allegedly shown in conversation with a woman.

The notice that has been sent to M/s Airways Media Pvt. Ltd holds that on 23rd of May, News One has repeatedly flashed news targeting NAB chief.
