People to get Chinese anti-covid-19 vaccine gratis: FM Qureshi

MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has informed that the populace would receive the anti-Covid-19 vaccine gratis. 

It is pertinent to mention here that a special PAF plane is being loaded at Beijing Airport with the first tranche of (half-a-million) anti- Covid-19 vaccine units that China has donated to Pakistan. FM said that he would receive the containers when it will arrive at Islamabad Airport tomorrow (Monday 1st of Feb).

Meanwhile, a vaccine nerve centre has been established at NCOC with provincial and district level vaccine administration. NCOC has claimed that all necessary measures have been put in place for vaccine storage in Islamabad and its transportation to various areas of Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that DRAP had given green signal to Chinese-manufactured Sinopharm, and the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.
