Pervez Elahi Sent To Jail On Judicial Remand

LAHORE: Anti-Corruption Court’s Judicial magistrate Ghulam Murtaza Virk, while rejecting the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) plea for his Physical Remand in the illegal appointments in Punjab Assembly (PA) case, has sent the PTI President Pervez Elahi to jail for 14 days on Judicial Remand.

It may be recalled that Ch. Pervez Elahi, who had been acquitted in two corruption cases, had been nabbed by ACE that says it has evidence that former CM with the support of Rai Mumtaz Hussain had illegally appointed twelve people on Grade 17 in PA by means of fake testing services.

Secretary PA Rai Mumtaz Hussain too has been send to jail on Judicial Remand.
