Peshawar police cordons off the area after IED blast injures 5

PESHAWAR: Additional Inspector General (AIG) of KP Police Shafqat Malik has ordered to cordon off the area after 5 people including two traffic police personnel were injured in a roadside blast here today.

The improvised explosive device (IED) blast, which happened in Peshawar’s Ashraf road, weighed around two kilograms (KGs) and was remotely detonated.

Security forces and rescue teams reached the incident site and started rescue operations.
