Petrol and Diesel prices slashed

ISLAMABAD: Fin Min, while talking to the journalists at a Presser held here on Wednesday (31st May 2023), announced reduction of petrol (Rs. 8/liter) and diesel (Rs. 5/liter) prices from 1st till 15th of June.

While the price of kerosene oil will remain the same (i.e.: Rs.164.07/liter), the new price of petrol for the next 15 days will be Rs. 262/liter, HSD will be available for Rs. 253/liter and a liter of Light Diesel Oil will cost Rs. 147.68/liter.

The minister pointed out: “During the past 15 days, neither was there any significant change in international oil prices, nor did the rupee value rise against the dollar. However, we tried our best to still pass on the benefit to the people.”
