Petroleum prices to remain unchanged

WASHINGTON: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, who is presently attending IMF and WB’s meetings here, has announced by means of a video message, on Saturday (15th of October, 2022) that the prices of petroleum products would remain unchanged throughout Pakistan till 31st day of October, 2022.

It is pertinent to mention here that OGRA had proposed a reduction: “Ministry of Finance received a summary from OGRA which suggested a slight reduction in petrol price while an increase in the price of diesel, kerosene and light diesel oil.”

Petrol is being sold for Rs224.80 per litre, high-speed diesel Rs235.30 per litre, and light diesel oil Rs191.83.
