PFUJ condemns murder of Husnain Shah

KARACHI: G M Jamali, President Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists PFUJ and Secretary General Rana Muhammad Azeem have strongly condemned the murder of Capital TV’s Crime Reporter Husnain Shah in Lahore on Monday (24th of January, 2022). 

According to details unknown gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire at the car of Husnain Shah near Lahore Press Club before bolting from the scene of crime.

The PFUJ leadership, while pointing towards earlier killing of numerous Media workers, have demanded arrest of culprits of the target killers immediately.

While Media workers held a rally in Lahore to condemn the murder,  Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain stated that the government stood with the heirs of Husnain Shah and the journalist community.

Ch. Fawad went on to say  that his blood would not go in vain and the shooters would be nabbed and brought to justice soon. CM Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar ordered the arrest of the accused without delay. | YouTube Channel
