PFUJ slams death-threats hurled at Sec Gen Rana Azeem

KARACHI:  G M Jamali, President Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) and other office-bearers/members have strongly condemned the death-threats hurled upon Secretary General, Senior Anchor 92 News Rana Mohammad Azeem by Iftikhar Bhola.
They held that death threats to Rana Azeem, for fulfilling his journalistic responsibilities by unveiling the corruption in the society was worst example of lawlessness. They held that incident has not only made journalists feel insecure but also spread a wave of concern among the fraternity. They said treats for fulfilling the responsibilities were not acceptable in any form.
PFUJ has demanded the CM Punjab, IG Punjab and CCPO Lahore to take notice of the development and provide security to Rana Mohammad Azeem. They also demanded legal action against the threatening person. Otherwise, they warned, a country-wide protest would be launched. | YouTube Channel
