KARACHI: As the formal process for PIA’s divestment commenced on 10th of November, 2023 following appointment of an adviser by Board of Privatization Commission, PPP’s Senator Saleem Mandviwalla has claimed that the national carrier was being privatized in non transparent manner.

Senator Saleem Mandviwala, while pointing towards dubious meetings being carried out by PML-N stalwarts, insinuated that not only a crisis was being created to show that the airline was in very bad condition but a buyer was also being prepared to prohibit other bidders.

Saleem Mandviwala warned that any dubious deal would result into protest by the workers of the Airline as well as the PPP.
