PM addresses KCCI members

KARACHI: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the leading businessmen at a program organised by KCCI and BMG at CM House here on Friday (20th of May, 2022).

He pointed out that dollar was available for Rs. 115 when the PML-N Govt left in 2018, while it was 189 when PTI Govt was removed by means of a No-Confidence motion.

Maintaining that the depreciation of Pakistani Rupee from 115 to 189 against the Green Bucks was not PML-N’s fault, the PM stated when PTI Govt sensed that the No-Confidence Motion would succeed, it decreased the prices of petroleum products against the market prices and contrary to the agreement with IMF.

Conspicuous among others there were Federal Minister for Finance Miftah Ismail, Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, Zubair Moti Wala, Mohammed Idrees and Haroon Farooqui.

Earlier, on his arrival at CM House, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was received by the provincial ministers including Manzoor Hussain Wassan, Sharjeel Inam Memon, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo and Imtiaz Shaikh.
