KARACHI: PM Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday (24th April, 2024) called for harmony among federal and provincial governments and collective efforts to bring economic stability in the country.
Addressing the meeting of Sindh cabinet along with Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah Shehbaz Sharif said his visit was aimed to take all the provinces on board for the development projects.
PM said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz respected mandate of all parties and all stakeholders must work together for the development and prosperity of the country.
The Prime Minister said that recent visits of the foreign delegations were a welcome sign.
Premier said new agreements with neighboring and friendly countries and establishment of border markets would boost trade.
Shehbaz Sharif said the visits of Saudi Arabian and Iranian delegations would increase foreign investment and strengthen economy of the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Sindh CM informed the premier about the financial problems of the province.
He informed that the School Rehabilitation Project, Barrages Project, and Solid Waste Project were pending with the Federal Government for necessary approval.
Sharif directed the Federal Finance Minister to resolve the financial issues.
On the request of Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon, the Prime Minister announced to give 150 buses in a pool of 300.
He also directed to resolve the issue of K-4 and Karachi Circular Railway projects.
