PM approves nomination of Najam Sethi to PCB BoG

LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has approved the nomination of Najam Sethi to the Board of Governors (BoG) of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

According to a PM Office statement, Sethi, who is the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Chairman at present, has been nominated for a three-year term to remain in the BoG of the cricket board.

The statement further added that the nomination of Arif Ejaz, CEO of Adamjee Insurance and KSB Pumps Industries, was also approved.

“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has approved the nomination of two members, namely Najam Aziz Sethi and Arif Ejaz, to the Board of Governors of the PCB,” PM Office said.

Sethi, who has served as the PCB Chairman after Zaka Ashraf’s departure, was selected to head the Pakistan-made super cricket league. On the other side, Arif Ejaz is an eminent and regarded name of the corporate part.
