KARACHI:  The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif, CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif, CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and PM’s Adviser Imtiaz Sheikh have congratulated the newly elected office bearers of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ).

PM in his message has lauded the role of President Rana Mohammad Azeem, Secretary G.M. Jamali, Treasurer Ashfaq Sajid and others apropos endeavoring to solve the problems of journalists.

Leadership, while reiterating that government believed in the freedom of Press, appreciated the role played by Journalists’ community in strengthening the democratic institutions.

The chief ministers  in their messages have assured the incumbents of their complete support. They said that the government would facilitate PFUJ in all their endeavors for welfare of journalists.
