PM Imran Khan departs from Big Apple for Jeddah

NEW YORK: Prime Minister Imran Khan, after his historic address at UN departed from here at 2PM on a commercial flight of Saudi Airlines which is scheduled to land at Jeddah Airport at 8.40AM on Sunday 29th of September.  

From Jeddah the Prime Minister  will depart for Islamabad where he will arrive on Sunday evening. It is pertinent to mention here that on Friday (27th of September)  night, the special jet placed at PM’s disposal by the Saudi government, had to return to JFK airport after developing a technical fault while heading to Pakistan.

The prime minister, who led the Pakistan delegation to the 74th session of the UN GA, had waited at the airport for some time while technicians tried to fix the fault, but more work was needed and they decided to complete it by Saturday morning.

Pakistan’s permanent Envoy to United Nations Dr. Maleeha Lodhi had escorted the prime minister back to the Roosevelt Hotel. Prime Minister Imran Khan, who wants to meet those affected by earthquake in Kashmir preferred to travel by a commercial flight instead of waiting for the fixing of the fault of royal jet.

Kashmir Issue: 6 more youngsters killed by Indian troops

SRINAGAR: The Indian troops during cordon and search operations killed three youngsters in Naranag area of Ganderbal and three others in the Batote area of Ramban district in Jammu region today (28th of September, 2019).

According to sources the Indian troops had also carried out similar operations in Jammu’s Ramban and Doda districts. All the educational institutions and businesses remained closed in the Kashmir Valley today. 

On the 55th day too normal life remained crippled and shutdown was observed in Doda, Bhaderwah and Kishtwar against Indian occupation and repeal of special status of occupied Kashmir by India.
