PM Imran Khan interacts with general public via phone

ISLAMABAD: PM Imran Khan, while interacting with the general public via telephone from here today has pronounced that govt was endeavoring to administer anti-Covid-19 jabs to entire populace during 2021 sans any discrimination. 

Commenting on the vaccine that arrived here today from China the PM said that the govt.’s policy was to administer the vaccine to the frontline health workers in the first phase. Later the vaccine will be given to those above sixty years of age or faced with some serious diseases.

He asked all the Muslim countries to unitedly raise its voice to address the issue of Islamophobia. He told that he had written letters to the heads of Muslim countries apropos Charlie Hebdo matter.  He held that under the garb of freedom of expression, the western countries were hurting the sentiments of Muslims.

Responding to a query about development of backward areas of the country he said that was the govt’s priority. He went on to state that PTI-led govt had given a historic package for the development of South Balochistan: “…we have also decided to provide 3G and 4G facility to bring improvement in the living standards of the people there”.

He said by means of Naya Pakistan Housing Program  less privileged people would be provided low cost housing units. He said that govt was endeavoring to turn the region harboring Gilgit Baltistan into a tourism hub in order to bring prosperity in the lives of the people.
