PM Imran Khan reshuffles Federal Cabinet

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has yet again reshuffled the Federal Cabinet here today.

According to details Syed Fakhar Imam has been appointed Minister for National Food Security, Khusro Bakhtiar will be Minister for Economic Affairs, Hammad Azhar will be the Minister of Industries and Azam Swati will be Minister of  Narcotics Control.

While the resignation of MQM-P’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has been accepted,  Amin ul Haq has been made Federal Minister for Telecom. Babar Awan has been appointed as Advisor for Parliamentary Affairs. Shahzad Arbab is no more an advisor. Umar Hameed replaces Hashim Popalzai as Secretary of National Food Security.

Prime Minister’s Office has taken to the Twitter to announce: “Cabinet has been reshuffled by Prime Minister Imran Khan; Syed Fakhar Imam has been made Federal Minister for National Food Security; Makhdoon Khusru Bakhtiyar has been made Federal Minister for Economic Affairs; Hammad Azhar has been made Federal Minister for Industries; Amin ul Haq has been appointed as Federal Minister for Telecom; Hashim Popalzai removed as Secretary Ministry of National Food Security & Research; Omar Hameed transferred and appointed as Secretary Ministry of National Food Security.  Azam Sawati has been made Federal Minister for Narcotics Control; Babar Awan has been appointed as Advisor for Parliamentary Affairs; Mohammad Shahzad Arbab has been removed as Advisor; Resignation of Mr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique as Federal Minister has been accepted.”
