ISLAMABAD: In order express solidarity with Kashmiris, Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Muzaffarabad on 14th August, 2019.
He is scheduled to address special session of the AJK legislative assembly to be held at 10AM on the occasion of the 73rd Independence Day of Pakistan that will be presided over by Speaker Shah Ghulam Qadir.
PM will also meet the All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK Chapter leaders to discuss the latest situation arising out after Indian attempts to end special states of disputed territory to pave the way for ethnic cleansing.
The government had decided to observe 14th August in solidarity with the populace of the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IoJ&K) and their struggle for right to self-determination. Meanwhile, on the PM’s initiative, a rally will be held from Rawalpindi to Islamabad on 14th August.
The 15th August will be observed as ‘black day’ against the ongoing Indian atrocities, human rights violations and imposition of curfew in the IoJ&K after illegally scrapping the special status of the disputed valley in clear violation of the UNSC resolutions.
