ISLAMABAD: PM Imran Khan, who had been invited by President Trump, has left for Washington on a 3-day official visit.
While FM is presently in Washington, PM is accompanied by Advisor on Commerce Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Special Assistant on Overseas Zulfi Bukhari and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
After assuming the office as PM this is his first visit to the US where he will be meeting President Trump twice and discuss varied issues with the American leadership.
DOHA: CEO of Qatar Airways Akbar Albaker called on PM Imran Khan during his transit here. PM and his entourage is travelling via commercial flight as part of PTI government’s austerity drive.

WASHINGTON: Prime Minister Imran Khan, during his US sojourn will hold wide ranging talks with US leadership.
This was stated here by Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi while talking to Media at a Presser. He informed that military leadership will also accompany the PM who will travel via commercial flights. FM claimed containing terrorism and getting security related targets were achievements of Pakistan (appreciated by the West).
PM Imran Khan and President Trump are scheduled tot meet twice. The first rendezvous would take place at the Oval Office while the second meeting is expected to take place in the cabinet room. FM further told that the PM would also meet with IMF and WB reps. Interaction with compatriots, businessmen and traders is also part of the agenda.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi pointing out that Pak-US summit meeting was being held after five years, held that PM’s visit would help improve Pak-US bilateral relations.
