PM Nawaz will return to Pakistan within three weeks: Maryam Nawaz




ISLAMABAD: Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that PM Nawaz will return to Pakistan within three weeks.

“The PM will return to Pakistan once he will get well,” said Maryam, adding that the PM would be able to travel after the doctors allow him.

PM Nawaz underwent a cardiac surgery in London on Tuesday. According to doctors, the PM will be now healthier after recovery and his performance would further improve.

Maryam also thanked the people who extended health wishes to the PM and said: “When it comes to the health or life issue of anyone, politics takes the back seat.”

She also posted PM Nawaz’s photo in the operation theatre on her verified Twitter account.

Earlier, many political leaders and celebrities extended their wishes to the PM and wished him ‘get well soon’. In his video message, West Indian cricket star Chris Gayle expressed his wishes and said that he hopes Nawaz Sharif will get well soon.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also extended their wishes to the PM on his health.
