PM will go to jail if proper ToRs formed: Imran Khan

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday government does not want to form proper terms of reference (ToRs) of Panama leaks probe.

Addressing a ceremony here at Lahore, he said that government was aware of the fact that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be in trouble if the ToRs were rightly crafted.

Khan said that not only PTI, but the whole nation demands the Nawaz-led government to form proper ToRs in the Panama scandal.

He also said that his party is all set to take to streets and hold demonstrations against the corrupt Nawaz government. PTI had earlier filed a reference in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for PM’s disqualification.

Earlier last month, PTI Chairman said that corrupt leaders are busy in making money and destroying the image of the country.

Khan said that corruption is eroding the very basis of the country like cancer.

“Corrupt elements are looting the national treasure and transferring the money to their foreign accounts,” Khan said adding that these elements are destroying national institutions.

PTI Chairman claimed that because of the massive corruption, mega corporations such as Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Pakistan Steel, and Pakistan Railways are in deteriorating condition.

Khan further said that the Nawaz-led government is investing in lengthy and time-taking projects where they can earn more commission.

Imran Khan warned the ‘corrupt’ leaders and said that he would not spare anyone if he got the chance to rule Pakistan.
