PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah arrested by ANF

ISLAMABAD: PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has been arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on his way from Faisalabad to Lahore today to attend a party meeting. 

Though ANF has not yet specified the charges, it has been insinuated by sources that 15kgs of narcotics worth crores of rupees in int’l market was recovered from his car. 

Earlier an ANF official, claiming that ANF did not arrest people without any valid reason, said Rana had been taken into custody on the charges of having terms with the drug peddlers and banned outfits.

NPTV has been told that Rana Sanaullah is being kept at ANF PS-I and the investigation is being supervised by Force Commander Brig Khalid Mehmood.  

Sources in ANF has informed that charge sheet will soon be produced and his remand will be sought tomorrow from a court of law. 

While ruling party says that ANF has arrested Rana Sanaullah, PML-N insists that the arrest was orchestrated by the PTI Govt.
