PNS Khyber inaugurated at Istanbul Shipyard

ISTANBUL: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed at the inaugural ceremony of PNS Khyber held at the Naval Shipyard here on Friday 25th of November, 2022.

The 3rd MILGEM class corvette (PNS Khyber) built for Pakistan Navy was jointly inaugurated by Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Erdogan.

Minister of information Marriyum Aurangzeb took to the Twitter to state: “PM Shehbaz accompanied by Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan was accorded guard of honor at the launching ceremony of Milgem Corvette ships, reflecting concrete example of Pakistan-Türkiye partnership which transcends conventional ties and diplomatic niceties.”
