MUZAFFARABAD: AJK High Court on Friday (14th June, 2024) granting bail to poet/journalist Ahmed Farhad Shah ordered his release.
It may be recalled that Ahmed Farhad was picked from his home in Islamabad by unknown persons on 15th day of May.
While on 29th May IHC was hearing a petition seeking his recovery, the court was told that Ahmed Farhad was locked-up at Dhirkot Police Station of Bagh district as he misbehaved with cops who stopped the vehicle he was travelling in.
Hours later he was taken to Saddar Police Station here to be booked under nine sections of Azad Penal Code and one each section of Telegraph and Anti-Terrorism Act.
