Poetry and computer science have always been my passion’:Satya Nadella

NEW DELHI: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said on Monday that the poetry and computer science have always been his passion.

Nadella, who was in the Indian capital for just several hours, invoked Ghalib, saying that whenever he reads ‘hazaron khwahishen aisi ki har khwaish’, he interprets it differently.

“There is so much to it… It also tells us that it is not just your dreams that need to be fulfilled. It’s also your ability to dream that is worth dying for,” he said.

During his visit, he interacted with business leaders, entrepreneurs, and government officials in Delhi and discussed ideas and building new things.

Coming to technology and Microsoft, Nadella said:”The virtual reality changes the way you see the world. (And) when you change the way you see the world, you change the world you see.”

Nadella’s visit to India comes a few weeks after Apple CEO Tim Cook visited India. He is expected to go to China after wrapping up his India tour.
