HUB: Police have claimed to arrest brother of Lyari’s gang lord Arshad Pappu in a raid near Sakran Road, Hub on Sunday.

“Police launched a raid on tip-off to arrest dacoit Hamid Pappu, who is brother of Lyari gangwar’s notorious gangster,” a police official said.

“The criminal was on way for a robbery; however, he was copped. A hand grenade and a pistol were recovered from his possession,” he said.

He has been shifted to a police station in Hub for interrogation.
