Police breaks into Imran Khan’s Zaman Park House

LAHORE: Police of the walled city broke into Imran Khan’s Zaman Park House Saturday (18 March, 2023) afternoon and taken 30 party workers who were manning the bunkers inside the premises.

So far thousands of slingshots and marbles have been found from the custody of the PTI activists who have been arrested.

IGP Usman Anwar also claimed that no innocent person was nabbed and during the operation weapons and petrol bombs were recovered from the IK’s house.

PTI has accused that personnel of Anti-Riot Police have ransacked the house and took whatever they managed to steal.

Taking to the twitter PTI’s Chairman stated: “…Punjab police have led an assault on my house in Zaman Park where Bushra Begum is alone.

“Under what law are they doing this?

“This is part of London Plan where commitments were made to bring absconder Nawaz Sharif to power as quid pro quo for agreeing to one appointment.”

According to sources when Police, with the help of Anti-Encroachment force, commenced the operation supported by water cannon and armored vehicle, PTI activists hurled stones on them.

Though Lahore Police had left IK’s Zaman Park residence after a two-hour operation, it re-entered the house at around 3PM.

Imran Khan later Tweeted: “It is also obvious now that the entire siege of Lahore was not about ensuring I appear before the court in a case but was intended to take me away to prison so that I am unable to lead our election campaign.

“It is now clear that, despite my having gotten bail in all my cases, the PDM govt intends to arrest me. Despite knowing their malafide intentions, I am proceeding to Islamabad & the court bec I believe in rule of law. But ill intent of this cabal of crooks shd be clear to all.”
