Polling ends in 2nd Phase of Sindh LG Elections

KARACHI: The polling process, that commenced at 8AM has stopped at 5PM Sunday (15th of Jan 2023) in the second phase of the Sindh LG Elections.

Nevertheless, those voters who were present in the premises of the polling stations were allowed to cast their vote after 5PM.

Voters in 7 districts of Karachi division and 9 districts of Hyderabad, Dadu, Jamshoro, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin, Thatta, and Sujawal district used their right to franchise.

It may be recalled that united MQM-P boycotted the elections as the ECP had failed to address their concern apropos new de-limitations.
