PPP slams Shahbaz Sharif over corruption

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Saeed Ghani on Sunday responded  to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s ‘lewd remarks’ against the party.

In a reply to Sharif, he said that bad mouthing about the PPP leadership would not hide the corruption of Sharif family.

“Each mega project in Punjab has a story of mega corruption. Sharif family is not only involved in mega corruption but also killing of Pakistan Awami Tehreek members in Lahore,” he said in a press release.

Ghani said that if there was any law in Punjab province then Shahbaz Sharif would have been in prison instead of Chief Minister House.

He said that people are suffering due to power loadshedding and price hike in Punjab and the Sharif family is enjoying international tours.

Referring to Shahbaz’s corruption remarks against PPP, Senator Saeed Ghani said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was running the government, they can investigate if cases found against PPP.

“The PML-N had always been found blaming the PPP of false accusations,” he said “Nawaz government is the corrupt government in the Pakistan’s history. Sharif family cannot escape accountability.”

Bashing the PML-N, he said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar already confessed that he had been involved in money laundering for Shahbaz and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
