G M Jamali and Rana Azeem have appealed the Government of Pakistan to take notice of the act of intimidating journalists as Freedom of Speech and Expression are Fundamental Rights and  Journalists’ Fraternity would not allow anybody commandeer their rights.

President PFUJ G. M. Jamali and Secretary General Rana Mohammad Azeem, maintaining that journalists are not against any government, held they only narrate the truth. Still those who have any objection should move the court instead of resorting to the belligerence. They warned that Journalists’ fraternity should not be forced to protest on the roads.
