PSL 6th Ed: Lahore Qalandars beat Karachi Kings

KARACHI: National Stadium was the venue where Qalandars beat Kings Sunday night by 5 wickets. 

Kings had given the Qalandars  a target of 187 runs, losing 9 wickets and no ball to spare.  For Karachi, Sharjeel Khan scored 64 and Mohammad Nabi 57.

Lahore Qalandars, with the help of South African veteran David Wiese’s contribution emerged victorious. His prolific bat yielded 31 runs adorned with three fours and three sixes. Fakhar Zaman scored 83 off 54 deliveries while Ben Dunk mustered 57 runs up off 43 balls.

On Saturday (27th of Feb) Peshawar Zalmi had slain the Islamabad United (who mustered 118 runs up) assisted by bowlers Wahab Riaz and Saqib Mahmood who took seven wickets. With this 3rd victory Peshawar perches at the top of the points list. After a 3-day break Zalmi will take on Karachi Kings on Wednesday (3rd of March).
