DUBAI: The credibility of ongoing Pakistan Super League here all of a sudden got suspicious with the smell of anti-corruption codes violation.
Ten players (from all teams) successfully steered clear through the abyss of accusation. But following an investigation two of them has been accused of breaching the regulations.
The suspended duo of Islamabad United has been charged of spot-fixing by PCB.
However, Sahrjeel Khan rejecting the accusation against him and Khalid Latif in the issued charge-sheet held: “The bookie masked himself as a devotee whom we meet on insistence of Nasir Jamshed.
“To us it was a general fan meeting but as soon as we smell the rationale of this interaction we left the spot without any further word exchange”.
