PSX in green: Bourse gains 373 points to close at over 42,683

KARACHI: Technology, Textile and Commercial Banking Sectors dominated the 4th trading session of the week with 64.6m, 26.4m and 24.6m shares changing hands.

Rs. 7.71b worth of 80.4m shares were traded in today’s session allowing the KSE-100 Index gain 0.88%.

Sources privy to Newspakistan.tv have insinuated that the MoF’s announcement apropos not taking of any loans from IMF in near future helped the investors gain confidence who were nervous about the concerns vis-à-vis devaluation of currency in addition to the local politics.

Today’s five leading traders were: WorldCall Telecom, 48m shares (+20pc); Azgard Nine, 22.9m shares (+2.17pc); Aisha Steel Mills, 12.8m shares (+1.92pc); Bank Al-Falah, 12m shares (+2.93pc); Sui Southern Gas, 8.3m shares (2.03pc).
