PTCL, Careem join hands to offer discounted rides

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has joined hands with an online cab service provider-Careem to offer discounted rides to its subscribers across the country.

The consumers would get up to 100% credit back (over Rs. 250) on their first ride while those who were already using Careem App, would also receive 50 percent discount (up to Rs 125) on its Go plus and business rides. The exclusive discount promo codes would be delivered to the consumers through their monthly bill, Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Email. In this regard, both the organizations inked an agreement here at PTCL HQ today.

Addressing the ceremony, PTCL Chief Commercial Officer Moqeem ul Haque said, “this agreement offers value and convenience to our customers, by providing them discounts while having a ride with Careem. We are passionate about using new digital services to further facilitate our customers and this is one way to express our gratitude towards them.” Careem General Manager North Pakistan, Shahzad Jamal said, “We are pleased to collaborate with PTCL in providing this exciting offer to their customers. With PTCL’s nationwide presence, it is indeed going to be a truly digital innovation for their customers as they can book Careem rides using the discount code in all the major cities of Pakistan.”
