PTI expels MPA Uzma Kardar from Party

ISLAMABAD: PTI has taken to the Twitter to inform that MPA Uzma Kardar had been expelled from the basic membership of the Party over violating rules.

In the PTI’s notice she had been accused of acting in a very irresponsible manner: “…your conduct is unbecoming of a PTI member therefore you have been expelled from the basic membership of the party…As a consequence you are also not eligible to hold any post or position at the parliamentary level.”

It is pertinent to mention here that in the month of June (2020) she was removed by Punjab information minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan from the Media Strategy Committee and as a spokesperson for the provincial government.

In the last general elections Uzma Kardar managed to win a reserved seat for women as a PTI candidate.
