ISLAMABAD: PTI Govt. has again decided to drop yet another petrol bomb on crores of Pakistanis who already can barely make ends meet.

It is pertinent to mention here that on Tuesday (30th of July 2019) Earlier on Tuesday, the Ogra had moved a summary to the government containing calculations on petroleum prices on the basis of higher general sales tax and petroleum levy.
Critics go haywire wondering why this augmentation in the petroleum price when the crude price had plummeted by more than 12 per cent in the Arabian Gulf to $63 per barrel on 30th of July from $72 on 28th April.
The government is charging 17pc GST on all petroleum products. Moreover, the petroleum levy ranging between Rs14-18 per litre is being charged on petrol/HSD and Rs3-6 on kerosene.
There is a monthly consumption of 800,000 tonnes of HSD 700,000 tonnes of petrol, 10,000 tons each of kerosene and LDO.
