ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan-led PTI government was not capable enough to make any effective economic policy for the country.
“Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been completely unsuccessful in its economic policies. Pakistan is bearing the burden of these policies and governments don’t work on just slogans,” said Nisar while talking to the media in Taxila.
The former interior minister further said that the premier has hired a cabinet full of incompetent ministers. They will soon cost him his premiership.
“He [Imran Khan] cant’ run the country with these cabinet members. They can’t even make a good decision. Time will tell him [PM] what he was doing wrong,” he said.
When asked about his long invisibility from politics, Nisar replied that he was not interested in anyone’s business and he was continuously observing the situation going on in the country.
“I was never interested in disturbing anyone. Whatever is going on in the country, I am aware about it. However, I won’t do politics and it is better to stay away from the scene,” he added.
