ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will be behind the bars within three months following his indictment by the accountability court, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry said while talking to the reporters here today.
NAB presented its first witness against Dar before an accountability court in a corruption reference filed against him on the orders of the apex court in its July 28 judgment in the Panamagate case.
The court indicted Dar on September 27 for amassing assets beyond his known sources of income.
“He [Dar] is going to reap what he sowed,” Fawad said, adding that the Sharif family is responsible for the downfall of the economy.
“The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) needs to change its strategy or else the country will be in shambles,” he said.
