Imran Khan, confirming the Gandapur-Gohar-COAS rendezvous, maintained that PTI had been attempting to get the other side on the negotiation table. Gohar (who journeyed to Peshawar by means of a helicopter in order to present all matters and PTI demands directly to the Chief of Army Staff) interacted with Media at the Adiala Jail courtroom.
Gohar said: “I and Ali Amin Gandapur held a meeting with COAS Munir, during which we outlined all of PTI’s concerns and priorities.” CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur, talking to journalists ahead of PTI-Govt parleys, negated any clandestine negotiations, saying there was no need for backdoor talks when everything was happening out in the open.
