LAHORE: Punjab government has diverted money from development funds and slashed its expenses to raise Rs. 45 billion to provide Rs. 14/unit relief to citoyens (utilising unto 500 units) in their August/September power bills.
This was proclaimed by PML-N Supremo former (thrice-elected) PM Nawaz Sharif, who was talking to journalists along-with CM Punjab at a joint Presser held here on Friday (16th August, 2024).
