LAHORE: Punjab government will provide interest-free loans up to 15 lakh rupees (enabling citizens of the Province to build their budget houses) repayable in easy instalments over a period of 7 years.
This was told by CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif here on Wednesday (21st August, 2024) while officially announcing Apni Chat Apna Ghar Program launched to provide affordable housing to the citoyens. Maximum monthly instalment would be Rs.14,000/m.
The interest-free loans will be available for the construction of houses measuring up to 150 square yards in urban and up to 300 square yards in rural areas. Citizens of Punjab can acquire information apropos applying for the loans by dialling 080009100 or by means of Punjab Information Technology Board portal.
