Quetta: Explosion in Hazarganj area claims three lives

QUETTA: While the PDM is in the process of showing their muscles here, the Hazarganj area had been rocked by a bomb blast that claimed lives of three people belonging to Marri tribe. 

The IED was planted on a motorcycle. Explosion also injured six people who were transported to Sheikh Zayed hospital. Two of the injured have been identified as Haji Shah and Abdul Hameed. Deceased were identified as Shah Nawaz, Khairullah and Haji Azad Khan.

Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the entire area and commenced probe. IED explosion had also damaged property including vehicles.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has strongly condemned blast and expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives.

The chief minister also extended heartfelt sympathies and condolence with the family members of the deceased and prayed for the early recovery of the injured, says a handout issued here on Sunday.

Usman Buzdar said that all the sympathies of the government were with the bereaved family members and the government equally shared their grief.
